RI Votes: Be A Voter

Voting at the Polls

Voting at the polls is pretty easy, but there are still a few things you can do to prepare.

First, be sure to check your polling location. You can do this by using the Rhode Island Department of State's Voter Information Center.

While you're in the Voter Information Center, be sure to view your sample ballot. It's always good to familiarize yourself with who is on the ballot and what offices you will be voting for. You can also see any ballot questions that you will be asked to vote on.

Finally, a photo ID is required to vote in Rhode Island. Be sure to have it ready to present to poll workers.
